Film Project targeting the
Upstate of South Carolina
It’s an exciting time in South Carolina and for Filmmakers.
OrionStar Productions, located in Los Angeles, CA has targeted the upstate of SC for filming a television (drama) series.
We are ready to start casting immediately and our goal is to begin working on the pilot as early as September 2013.
We are interested in scouting the following locations (but, not limited to) Greenville, The Reserve at Keowee and/or the Cliffs Communities. This will be ongoing film project for the longevity of the show.
We would like to join hands with Greenville and the entire state as we move forward and we are very pleased that this will create new jobs while stimulating the economy in the state of SC with basing our television drama series out of the upstate in Greenville and Sunset, SC. These communities will become known as the fictional town of 'MORNINGSIDE' in the television series of the same name.

It’s an exciting time in the Upstate of South Carolina for filmmakers,
actors, local businesses and residents.
OrionStar Productions, located in Los Angeles, CA has targeted the
Upstate of SC for filming a television (drama) series in October 2013
titled “Morningside”.
Our team at OrionStar Productions has been working very hard to bring this
story to life in the Upstate of SC. "Morningside" is the story of two
wealthy, powerful and prestigious friends and their families, who
reunite in their hometowns after being away for decades. Each are
guarding deep-rooted secrets from their past and things on the
surface are not at all as they may seem. We have assembled some of
the finest actors and actresses from the Southeastern area and we
have one of the finest teams in place to get our production
accomplished.
We are very pleased that the "Morningside" production will create
several hundred new jobs while stimulating the local economy with
basing our television drama series out of the Upstate in Greenville and
Seneca SC. These communities will become known as the fictional
town of "Morningside" in the television series of the same name.
